Homelessness Prevention Program
Struggling with Rent, Mortgage or Utilities Payments?
The Homelessness Prevention Program is administered by The Salvation Army and funded by The Regional Municipality of York and the Government of Ontario. The Homelessness Prevention Program helps eligible York Region residents, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness not receiving Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Program benefits, to stabilize their housing.
People who are behind on rental, mortgage or utility payments may get support from the Homelessness Prevention Program.
To apply, please contact York Region’s Access York contact centre.
